His research interest is influence of regional climate change, remote sense phenology, timberline-tundra change, etc. He directed 1 project supported by Northeast Normal University, which is Eco-security and Data Integration of the Geopolitical Area in Changbai Mountains, 2 projects supported by National Nature Science Foundation of China, published over 20 academic papers indexed by SCI (Science Citation Index), and released 1 academic book.
